Watch: This Dietician Says What You Need To Eat To Keep Off The Weight

Dan Vs Jason Weight loss challenge winner, Kabelo Seete, lost a whopping 14.2KG in 14 weeks!  This saw Kabelo win the challenge and walk home with a R10 000 adidas shopping voucher. Kabelo also featured on the Dan Nicholl Show, where he shared his weight loss with the rest of South Africa.

Moments before the show, dietician Jade Seeliger sat down with the actuarial sciences student to discuss how to keep the weight off after his incredible journey.

“During the journey, the weight loss is so exciting and motivating and you do so well at it. And all of a sudden weight maintenance comes in, which is just not as exciting. That’s where you’ve got to look at the changes that you’ve made and make them a lifestyle,” says Seeliger. “One such change is ‘eating water’: you need to eat veg and salad which is made up of 90% water. This bulks up your plate, fills you up, and gives you the satiety value you need. ”
