“A pair of Ray-Bans, a black biker-style leather jacket, black t-shirt, a great pair of denims and a pair of tan Chelsea Boots or white sneakers. I like to keep my daily looks quite cool and classic. I also believe that you should attempt to get dressed once, and be ready for anything. “

Quick Tips For Every Look

Don’t: Go overboard with overly shiny pieces.

Do: Acquire classic pieces that will stand the test of time. Use the colourful ones as statement pieces that will pop when you wear more monochrome or neutral outfits.

Using Bright Colours

Don’t: Attempt to directly replicate the often multi-coloured looks you see on the runways, chances are you won’t get it 100% right.

Do: Interpret the use of bright colours in your own way. Bright yellows, paired down with black or grey. White sneakers are a good base for adding one statement piece to an otherwise monotone outfit.

Sneaker Game

Don’t: Forget to be honest with yourself and your taste. Purchase the sneakers you love and love to wear. Unless you’re a collector or aficionado.

Do: Have fun with colours, styles and trends, however, always keep a few classic pairs on hand. And always keep your sneakers clean. Unless they’re the kind that can afford a bit of character.

Be Confident In What You Wear

Don’t: Wear something you dislike because it’s in fashion. It will show.

Do: Reimagine current fashion trends and take it to where you want it to go in order to match your personal style. Owning a look is key, and that confidence is drawn from you simultaneously loving the garments and being comfortable in them.

“Explore, research and have fun with getting dressed. Your style speaks before you do. Never budge on quality. Have a few pieces you’d pass on to your offspring someday. Become acquainted with your tailor. Your fragrance is a part of your style, choose it wisely.” – Chad Saaiman
