Google search data has determined which people are hunting hardest for dildos, jiggle balls, and love eggs

If there’s one thing we, the consumers of the Internet, love it’s data broken down geographically. We judge cities for being unhealthy or being the most drunk. And in this particular case, we can see which countries love sex toys the most.

According to a new study, a Danish shop sells more sex toys than anyone else in the world making Denmark no. 1. Vouchercloud, a site that offers discounts on range of products, compiled the data to see how often users in different locales search for sex toys using the 18 most popular products and search terms. Those include products as vanilla as dildos and as specified as “jiggle balls.”

As Mashable notes, this data isn’t insightful enough to determine whether people are taking the next step by buying the products. Nonetheless, it’s useful in understanding a country’s sexual desires and interests. So, starting with Denmark in the top spot, let’s run down the rest of the top five.

Coming behind Denmark, no pun intended, is its neighbour, Sweden. Perhaps it’s time to consider a Scandinavian vacation?

Europe dominates this list, securing 23 of the top 30 ranked countries. Surprisingly, North America makes its first appearance on the list with not the United States, but Greenland.

Contrary to what you may think, no, the United States is not the league leader here.

It’s surprising to see the US ahead of the UK, which was fifth, given that America was founded by those too prude for the Queen’s land.

Africa comes in as being pretty conservative in the sex toy department, with Algeria ranking the highest on the continent at 73. South Africa ranked 102, while it’s northern neighbours, Namibia came in higher on the list at 97.
