The Science Is In: Funny Dudes Make The Best Lovers
According to new research, your sense of humour may be the most potent aphrodisiac

According to new research published in Socioaffective Neuroscience & Psychology, “How often women experienced orgasm as a result of sexual intercourse was related to their partner’s income, self-confidence, and how attractive he was.” Depending on your current situation, that may be either good or bad news.
This conclusion (which, frankly, isn’t all that surprising) was reached after 103 different women were put through a 71-minute long survey that intended to disentangle “traits and behaviours” of the “mate-choice hypothesis of the female orgasm.” That’s a complicated way of saying, “Here’s what types of guys give out the most (and best) orgasms.” To figure this out, researchers compared the personalities and sexual behaviours of “high orgasm inducing” and “low orgasm inducing” partners to figure out the differences between the two.
Good news: If, for whatever reason, you’re currently coming up short in the confidence, looks, and bank account departments, it sounds like you can still hand out orgasms to a very satisfactory degree if you can manage to make your prospective partner laugh (though it’s worth noting that that probably ties in with confidence). We say that because researchers also deduced that a guy’s sense of humour“ predicted women’s propensity to initiate sex, how often they had sex, and it enhanced their orgasm frequency in comparison to other partners.” Or as Anka Radakovich over at Sexpert puts it: “Make us laugh and we turn into nymphos.”
In fact, researchers learned that there were half-a-dozen characteristics that guys who were most likely to satisfy possessed. They are, in no order, creativity, attractiveness, faithfulness, emotional warmth, humour, and body odour pleasantness. You’ve got two or three of those, right? If not, let this be the day you turn it all around. Get out there, take a shower, enroll in an improv class, or steal some jokes off Netflix or something.
Your ding dong will thank you later.
