Earlier this year, the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared occupational burnout a medical condition. The condition is beginning to affect more and more people each year. It often occurs when people are overworked, although this is not the sole cause. Other reasons for burnout include feeling a lack of control at work, constantly being connected to your office or even being genetically wired for burnout.

The condition is not just simply feeling tired. Instead symptoms include becoming disinterested in your work, disliking your colleagues and clients, or having a growing sense of cynicism. Everyone experiences the condition in a different way.

Are you struggling with the condition? We’re trying to find out just how much stress the average South African man is dealing with and how he manages it. Take our survey and the results of the below survey will appear in our February 2020 issue.

This survey is for men only.
