Make Your Wheels Shine
Daniel Graham, owner of Plush Boutique Car Wash www.plushcarwash.co.za tells us how:
Step 1: Apply Cleaner
Spray on a mild, pH-balanced wheel cleaner and let it work to lift the particles off the wheel metal, following the bottle’s direc¬tions. (Strong acids in old-school cleaners can damage the finish on today’s wheels.)
Step 2: Remove Cleaner
Rinse the wheel. Use room temperature water. Scrub it with a microfibre wheel brush to remove lingering dirt. Dry with a microfibre towel; repeat the process for stubborn stains. Clean wheels individually so the cleaner doesn’t dry on them.
Step 3: Polish
Apply a high-quality wheel polish to your wheels with a clean, dry microfibre towel. Let the polish dry and then wipe it off with a regular cloth. This seals your wheel and helps protect it from debris. Always keep your tyres inflated as this offers protec¬tion around your rims.
