Muscle Meal: Salmon With Potatoes And Aioli In 15 Minutes

In our last installment of Whirlpool’s #healthsnackseries, Men’s Health (together with Whirlpool) have created a simple, and nutritious recipe for salmon steak, potatoes and aioli sauce, using the Steam and Crisp functions. Salmon is loaded with protein and omega-3 fatty acids, two key nutrients to build and repair muscle tissue! Not only is dinner sorted – it’s ready in just 15 minutes.



— 4 baby potatoes
— Salmon fillet
— Sea salt
— 1 Egg yolk
— 1 Tsp mustard
— Lemon juice
— Canola oil
— Salt and pepper
— Handful rocket


1/ Place potatoes in a covered microwaveable bowl
2/ Place bowl in the Whirlpool Jetchef and cook using the Steam function for 10 minutes
3/ Season your salmon fillet with sea salt and cook on the Crisp function for 5 minutes
4/ Meanwhile, whisk the egg yolk, mustard, lemon juice together and slowly add the canola oil
5/ Season with salt and pepper and mix well
6/ Remove salmon from the Whirlpool Jetchef
7/ For plating, place four potatoes, cover with rocket, and place the salmon on top
8/ Drizzle the aioli and season some more.
9/ Serve and enjoy!
