Pour some cereal as a snack.

People who regularly ate at least seven servings a week of wholegrain cereal had a 19% lower risk of hypertension later in life than people who ate none, according to a study in Clinical Nutrition. Wholegrain cereals may lessen inflammation and improve insulin sensitivity, the study noted. Check your cereal box to see if it is marked as “wholegrain”.
