Running Makes You Live Longer

Men's Health |

Being a runner could add as much as three years to your life, according to a new study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

The study, which aimed to assess the long term benefits of running, looked at the mortality risks for a group of over 55 000 adults.

After finding out how many of the adults had died over a 15 year span, they found that the runners in the group were generally less likely to die and lived three years longer on average.
