The first Spartan race in South Africa will feature a fast and furious 5km+ Sprint course as well as the 13km+ Super, featuring iconic Spartan obstacles.

On the outskirts of Johannesburg, the amazing Kings Kloof offers rugged trails, tough terrain, scenic views, and the perfect place to launch the world’s largest obstacle course race, in Africa. The first ever Spartan event in South Africa will feature a fast and furious 5km+ Sprint course as well as the challenging 13km+ Super, featuring many of the iconic Spartan obstacles.

This Is What You Can Choose From:

The Spartan Sprint: This is our shortest distance. It is perfect for athletes of all levels; from Spartan first timers to seasoned racers. The 5-6 Km Sprint may be our shortest distance but it packs more than 20 Signature Spartan Obstacles. If you think you can’t do it, you’re wrong. Get to the starting line and show yourself what you are capable of.

The Spartan Super: This is our middle distance course. With a longer distance than the Sprint and more obstacles, the Super will test your endurance, perseverance and grit. The 13 Km+ Super packs more than 25 Signature Spartan Obstacles through tougher and more rugged terrain. The Super is the test en route to your Spartan TRIFECTA.

And of course, there’s also a kid’s race.
