Your Next Holiday Should Be Trekking Patagonia And Its’ Glaciers
Patagonia is where you head when you’ve done the Alps and the Pyrenees. The incredible glacial landscape of Chile shouts ‘adventure’, and expeditions into this wilderness require experience and expertise.
Patagonia Adventure Expeditions offers various trips into the remote Aysén region. The team has dedicated their lives to understanding the human and physical geographies of the Northern Patagonian Ice Field and Baker River basin, and are committed to protecting these spectacular wild lands and the communities that call them home.
It’s not your run-of-the mill trip where you will be fighting for information from the experts. All trips include a minimum of one guide per client so you are well-informed and well taken care of.
And you’ll never have to worry about scoffing down dehydrated versions of meals that are barely palatable. Staying healthy means eating and sleeping well, and they take lodging and food very seriously. The food they serve is of the highest quality, with an emphasis on local, organic, and in-season fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses.
There are three trails and treks you can choose from. The Aysén Glaciar Trail is a ten-day journey connecting the Soler and Colonia river valleys and traversing the Nef Glacier on the edge of the Northern Patagonian Ice Field. The region it explores lies beyond the reach of humanity and few people ever go there. The second is the Nunatak Trek, a glacier-focused journey below the towering Cerro Arenales on the edge of the Northern Patagonian Ice Field. And finally the Fault Line Trek is a trek through high-alpine meadows and forests, where you camp alongside pristine glacial lakes, and cross free-flowing mountain streams.
Take adventure of these curated trips that take you through some of the most remote and beautiful sights in the world with Patagonia Adventure Expeditions here.
