Healthy sperm is not necessarily a given for men with factors like quantity, movement and structure contributing to sperm health. However these researchers believe they have found a way where you could experience better orgasms, as these traits may change with new partners.

Researchers at the College of Wooster, Ohio, conducted a recent study which was published in the journal of Evolutionary Psychological Science.

Their main focus was to unearth whether a man’s ejaculate trait changes in response to familiar or new female stimuli. 21 men between the ages of 18 -23 partook in this experiment, they had to watch seven sexually explicit videos in a secluded room, every 48 to 75 hours for 15 days.

You’re probably thinking ‘lucky them’…the first six video’s starred the same actress and actor but the seventh video starred the same actor but a different actress; each video was three minutes long and was taken from a longer 20 minute clip which was played repeatedly until the men masturbated.

They were told to record what time they started watching the clip, the time of ejaculation and if all their ejaculate was deposited into a collection cup. What was not included was the ejaculate that did not make it into the collection cup.

The average time that it took these men to ejaculate ranged between four to 21 minutes, with no increase or decrease with regards to the time of ejaculation within the first six films. Are you surprised to find out that there was however an increase in terms of the quality and speed of ejaculation when viewing the seventh film which included a new actress.

“Our findings are the first to demonstrate that men’s ejaculate behaviour and composition change in response to a novel female stimulus.”

Wondering why or how these men were able to produce higher quality sperm for a new female stimulus? Researchers assume that these men believe they had their sperm stored by women they had sexual intercourse with or sperm competition which refers to “the competition between the sperm of two different men to fertilize a single woman’s egg.”

Either these findings justify polygamous dating or provide you with another reason to stray? Whichever way you view it; there is no denying that it is quite interesting in a peculiar manner.
