Q: My 15-year-old son blocked me on Facebook. Should I tune him?

Sounds like he’s trying to grow up and that he needs a little space to do it. If you crowd him on Facebook (ja, even I know what that is), he’ll pull back in other ways. Look, you and I didn’t have parents hovering over us while we yakked with our friends, and we turned out fine. So let the kid have his privacy and focus on being there for him in person. As long as he still sees you as an ally, he’ll come to you when he needs help.
