What’s that girl, Timmy’s fallen in the well again?
Teach your dog to talk and you’ll never misunderstand a thing she says ever again.
Shush! Say the word “quiet”, and when Puppy complies, reward him with a toy or treat. When the doorbell rings, distract the dog with some other trick you’ve trained him to do: have him sit or lie down and then toss him a reward as you answer the door. Good boy!
Woof! First, provoke him to bark by knocking while you say a command. When he barks, give him some of his food. Repeat four or five times. If he barks when you haven’t given the command, say “quiet” and reward him when he complies. After a while the command should prompt a bark.
