THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
Ashton Kutcher finds a way to go back in time to “fix” everything that went wrong in his life… Only to stuff things up even more. It’s a thoughtprovoking film, which earned three-star ratings universally due to the mandatory two-star penalty any film must incur for having Ashton Kutcher in it.

DÉJÀ VU
Denzel Washington stars as a cop who gets introduced to a technology that lets a high-tech investigation unit see four days into the past. When a terror attack hits New Orleans, Denzel uses the machine to physically travel back in time as well.

TERMINATOR 2
In easily the best Terminator movie, Arnie is the no-longer-evil T101 sent from the future to protect John Connor (pronounced “Jahn Cah-nuh”) from the super-evil T-1000. Watching T2 today, it’s hard to imagine that its special effects are almost 20 years old. The film hasn’t dated one bit.

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) travels from 1985 to 1955, where he has to a) make sure his parents fall in love, b) avoid altering the course of the future while doing it and c) somehow get back to the future, which is… erm… 1985.

12 MONKEYS
In one of the most confusing films ever, Bruce Willis gets beamed back in time from a post-apocalyptic 2035. Too bad he’s sent to the wrong time and ends up in an insane asylum. And too bad that’s only the start of the madness.
