Do your eyes need surgery?
Set your sight on the target, even if that means a laser aimed at your eyeballs

Eye anatomy
The cornea refracts light rays as they enter the eye, through the pupil and lens to the retina. The rays are brought together for focusing and cross over, creating an upside down image on the back of the retina. The degree of refraction depends on the shape of the cornea and lens. While the shape of the lens can be altered by the ciliary muscles – allowing the eye to focus on both nearby and far away objects – the cornea’s shape is fi xed. The retina consist of lightsensitive cells called rods and cones. When stimulated, these cells send electrical signals along the cells of the optical nerve to the brain, which interprets them, creating the image as it is seen.
