Mo Money
Research shows that moustachioed men make more money
If you thought that we were going overboard on this whole Movember thing, and we are because we take men’s health that seriously, then take a skip across the pond to where the American Mustache Institute have conducted a study into moustached men’s money matters compared to their bearded and clean-shaven brethren.
The study was taken during the first six months of 2009, polling 2,000 men with moustaches, 2,000 men with beards and 2,000 shaven men.
From this came a report titled: "Saving and Spending Patterns of Mustached Americans," which showed moustached men make 8.2 percent more than guy’s with beards and 4.3 percent more than those who are clean-shaven.
On the downside the study found that men with moustaches spend 11 percent more and save 3 percent less than their facial hair-less peers. But that’s probably got to do with being awesome and all the dates a moustachiod man goes on, right?
So before you reach for the clippers come December 1 remember this, as well as the fact that men with moustaches are more likely to get hired at job interviews, Reuters reported.
