Anticipation has been mounting around the globe amongst Harley-Davidson fans for the new 2015 Road Glide Special motorcycle. What makes this bike so ‘special’ is the fact that it has been infused with DNA of the customer-led product development effort, Project Rushmore. Satisfying the hardcore status of Harley the Road Glide Special sets out to make the ultimate statement in custom, high-mile aggression that is backed up by the functionality its riders demand.

The new the sleek, shark-nose Touring model Road Glide has been shaped by many hours of wind tunnel testing and its new frame features a triple Slipstream fairing that significantly reduces head buffeting while still providing comfortable airflow around the rider. It also has Dual Daymaker Reflector LED headlamps that are capable of blasting light thorough the murkiest of nights. Mounted on the center of the inner fairing is the latest technology in the form of the premium Boom! Box 6.5GT infotainment system. This incorporates touch screen technology and GPS navigation, which can be comfortably controlled from the twin joysticks on the newly swept-back handlebar.

Apart from its apparent styling the new Road Glide Special has a high Output Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine that roars through two chrome mufflers. The hand-adjustable low-profile rear suspension allows the abundance of torque with just a twist of the throttle. The new touring features of the Road Glide include One-Touch hard saddlebags, cruise control and more easy-to-read gauges. It also features Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS and styled out with a hand-applied pinstriping and an exclusive painted inner fairing.
