Lunch at your desk may not be the best career move.
New research from Sweden reveals that exercising during office hours can increase your productivity. Employees who exercised two and a half hours a week during work hours reported accomplishing more at the office than those who didn’t exercise on the job. One theory: exercise boosts oxygen consumption, which may help improve one’s concentration and problem-solving abilities. Can’t make it to a gym? Take a walk during lunch or schedule walking meetings.
