Supper: Spicy steak and baked potato
1 medium potato, pricked with a fork on each side
1 tbsp olive oil
200g thick-cut rump
Preheat the oven to 200˚C. Parboil the potato until almost cooked through. Remove, rub with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Place in the oven on a baking tray and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. In the meantime, rub the steak both sides with the remaining olive oil. Sprinkle over the Nomu Rub to taste. Cook the steak on a smoking hot griddle pan for about three minutes a side or until cooked to your liking. Leave to rest for a few minutes, then serve with the baked potato and a side salad.
