This sauce is what Bransby calls his “Awesome Sauce”. Its great on chicken and ribs and should be applied before, during and after cooking.
1 Clove Garlic
1 Teaspoon Mild Curry Powder
175 ml cooking/olive oil
200ml Worcestershire Sauce
250ml All Gold Tomato Sauce
1-2 Chillies if you like it hot
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a suitably sized pot and bring to the boil, turn down the heat and let it simmer. Check it to make sure it’s smooth and cooking evenly.
You can spice it up with a chili or 2 if you like it hot.
Take a nice thick 500 – 600g rump and let it marinade for 24 hours in Awesome Sauce and braai for 2 minutes a side on a smoking hot grill and slice into fingers and serve with salt, pepper, lemon juice or Tabasco for an absolutely awesome snack!
