Perform six reps on each side and then take two minutes rest. Do four rounds in total.

Start with the box quite low – you don’t want to KO the rest of your day. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, flat on the floor a metre from the box. Bend at the knees and hips and bring your arms up above your head.
Explode off your right leg only, shooting your arms down to generate extra momentum. Land as softly as you can, your right foot completely on the box. Resist the urge to elbow someone. Step back and alternate with your left leg.
