Demonstrate your impressive underwater moves with help from Jodi Cossor, the lead biochemist for Team Great Britain Swimming.
As you approach the wall, drop your head to initiate the movement when you’re a single arm stroke away.
Use your head and shoulders to help control your speed. Tuck your knees in to 90 degrees to generate maximum power off the wall.
Plant your feet on the wall at around 45 degrees from vertical, then bring your arms forward with your hands together, minimising drag as you rotate.
With your head and arms streamlined, rise up to the surface but only begin to transfer wall velocity into the first stroke once your head breaks the water.
Power on down to the other end of the pool. Regret not tying your costume a bit tighter.
